The Program

We ask you to practice meditation ten minutes a day at any time you choose. We will send you an email or a text message at that time reminding you to practice. Do your practice wherever you are. After you do your practice, respond via email or text, telling us what meditation method you used and a short report of what happened. Your report is posted anonymously on twitter for all to see, and we will reply with a bit of advice as often as we can (currently about half the time). In order to support this program, donate an amount you choose.

We have tested this program for two months. Participants do their practice 85% of the time, about a 400% improvement over their average past practice. Each of the 25 participants has donated on average $20 per month, enough to keep the program running. All donations go directly to supporting the teen mindfulness program at King Street Center here in Burlington.
